Get your iPad up on the big screen.AirServer is an $8 program that runs in the background on your teaching computer. It let's you use AirPlay, which comes built in on your iPad, to wirelessly share your iPad screen. Not only that, you can share up to 9 different iPad screens at the same time!
Customize and control your AirServer. The setting for AirServer can be found at the bottom right-hand of your screen, on a district Windows PC. This is where you will go to customize its settings or rebroadcast the signal. You can rename your AirServer so it's easy to find. You may also decide how you and your students will access the AirServer by changing your password settings. Watch this short demo. |
Is your AirServer giving you trouble?
Sometimes, AirServer can act up. Try not to get frustrated. Instead, call x5555 and ask them to make sure you have the most current version of AirServer installed on your machine. If you still can't get AirServer to work, ask for a visit from one of our tech teachers. AirServer requires wifi to operate. In some cases, the wifi is weak or non-existent in a building or portable. While TIS is working hard to rectify this lack of service throughout the district, it may be that AirServer won't work until your school site has been updated. For information on the wifi update timeline, check the district website or contact TIS. |
